The orientation day was the start of a lot of things.
Things that changed my whole college life, like the formation of a group of such lovely and friendly people and also meeting the guy whom I knew will be my best friend.
First hanging out with Alice, Sherlyn and Ching Chee in the morning before the activities start. Then we were divided into different groups according to the colored cards we got. Fortunately, me and Alice got to be in the same group. I didn't know the other people but we eventually started talking as we went to the different locations of college. Then running up and down the stairs, the two people who had asthma had to slow down so they will not get asthma attack on the second day of college. They greeted and shook hands. Talked even more as they had the same speed- not as fast as Alice and not as slow as Sasha. We were the last group to finish all the activities so there was obviously no group photo for us. LOL so embarrassing. Then we had about an hour to change and get ready to go for the speech. As I was taking my time, Alice went to have lunch at Pyramid with the seniors so I had to find the speech-place-thingy myself. On my way to the place, I saw the guy who got the dark blue card during the activities like me, and was the funniest person in the group. So I asked him if I could follow him, because I didn't want to go there all by myself. He responded with an epic scared face which I will never forget and we decided to take the stairs to waste less time. Going up from LG to level 4 definitely takes a long time so we started talking. I found out that he's18 and Chindian, not Malay. And that his grandmother passed away two weeks back. We took the seats which were all the way up there and you could barely see the people who were giving the speech. Then we all got our timetables and the sad thing I found out was that I didn't have any class with any of my new friends. But we figured out that it would be good to meet up at the foyer the next day, so no one would have to eat lunch alone and look for someone else to hangout with. Of course, I was the first to take Jon's, Chronicle's and Arif's phone numbers. I had Alice's since the first day of college. The Chindian boy started texting me after that. Then as our group got bigger everyday, Jon and I became so close to the point where I would tell him all my secrets and he would tell me his. Then people started asking me whether I liked him or not. Since I'm the person who's not always being honest, I said no, we're just really good friends. HAHA SUCKER.But the fact that he liked me and I knew it was bothering me so much, and then hearing the shocking news made it even worse. We stopped talking for a few days because of that, but I couldn't resist his cuteness and started texting him again. Bahah I'm such a loser :P Yesh I could feel our friendship building up again but someone's hate was growing stronger against me. She has the rights to feel that way though. I was stealing her boy away from her anyway. Then suddenly BOOM. The day I had been waiting for for so long :') First of September 2011. I will never forget that day. Not because I care or anything but just cause it's so easy to remember. :P But yeah. He's still my bestest friend and I love him to death. Thanks for being mine, Jonathan Moorthy. (:
By the way I miss Mr Ajesh so much.
I'd take another chance, take a fall
Take a shot for you.
